Testimonials

The first edition of the international conference REACH organized by T.I.E.S in partnership with the American University of Beirut (AUB) was held on January 16-17, 2020. This conference invited researchers and practitioners to reflect broadly on the opportunities and challenges associated with the implementation of inclusive education within educational systems.

REACH 2020 had many superb presentations delivered by experts from around the world. I learned so much about the Lebanese school system, and educational systems around the world, at this conference. Overall, it was an outstanding experience for me, and I hope to return to this exceptional conference in the future.
The REACH conference bringing together researchers, practitioners, education students and NGO leaders had put into perspective the many initiatives aimed at fostering educational success for all students. It was a great opportunity to reflect on inclusive practices and to share each other's experiences. Several collaborations were born there and will allow moving forward towards a more inclusive school in Lebanon. Bravo for the organization and for the initiative.
The conference organized by T.I.E.S showed the capacity of this NGO to conceive and organize large-scale events combining scientific rigor and quality of the reception. The theme of the inclusive society is more than ever topical in the difficult social context that Lebanon is currently experiencing and few scientific events contributing to this theme are organized in the Middle East.
Reach 2020... an enriching experience in exchanges and discussions with professionals and researchers all working towards a common goal: inclusive education.
My participation at T.I.E.S conference has truly been a deeply engaging experience. I appreciate the efforts in organizing this national event, similar and maybe better, than conferences attended around the world despite the challenging situation in Lebanon. I hope T.I.E.S conference will prove to be the meeting point where scholars and practitioners can join efforts to launch a new phase of inclusive education in the country. Eagerly waiting for your next event.
